La Organización para la Cooperación y Desarrollo Económico realizó un estudio en el cual determina que Venezuela es el principal país de origen de los solicitantes de asilo en todo el mundo.

De esta forma, precisó que los migrantes venezolanos están entre las primeras tres nacionalidades de recién llegados en países como Colombia, Chile, México y España.

Además, señaló que Estados Unidos es el país quemas recibió solicitudes de asilo de migrantes provenientes de Guatemala, Honduras, Venezuela y El Salvador.
