Colombia: nuevas normas para retirar dinero en cajeros automáticos

Desde julio entrarán a regir las nuevas normas que establece la Circular Externa 029 de 2019 de la Superintendencia Financiera sobre los retiros en los cajeros automáticos.

Uno de los principales cambios es en el monto máximo de retiro diario: todos los bancos deben permitirle a los usuarios la opción de retirar el monto límite en una sola transacción.

Es decir, si al día puede sacar hasta $3 millones en efectivo, desde julio podrá hacerlo en solo una operación. Actualmente retirar esta cantidad puede tomar más de tres transacciones dependiendo el banco.

Aunque el cambio en los montos máximos empezará a regir en julio, ya algunos de los principales bancos del país ofrecen esta alternativa.

Las nuevas normas también establecen que las entidades financieras deberán ofrecer más protección a sus usuarios por medio de mecanismos de seguridad biométrica en los cajeros.

Asimismo, desde julio los usuarios accederán a la devolución automática de la comisión en caso que la transacción falle.
